Services

Record review, expert reports and testimony

Engage us for one stage or all of them. Each stage is billed hourly against a retainer.

Merit screening

A short review and a phone call. You learn whether the case has a standard-of-care or causation problem before you invest in it.

Record review

A full read of the chart, a timeline of the decisions that matter, and a verbal opinion on standard of care and causation.

Written reports

Reports and declarations written when you ask for them, in plain language a jury can follow, with every statement tied to the record.

Testimony

Deposition and trial testimony on the opinions given, by the clinician who formed them.

We take cases from both sides. The opinion is the same whichever side asks for it.

Process

How an engagement runs

  1. Inquiry and conflict check

Send the party names, the facility or practice, and your deadline. No records yet. We confirm there is no conflict and that the case is in our field.

  2. Engagement

You receive the CV, fee schedule and engagement letter. Work begins when the letter is signed and the retainer is received.

  3. Record review

You send the records by secure transfer. The expert reads the chart and builds a timeline.

  4. Verbal opinion

We call you with the opinion, including the parts that do not help your side. Nothing is put in writing until you ask.

  5. Report and testimony

If you designate the expert, we prepare the report or declaration and testify at deposition and trial.
